Amu in America ch.6

Ikuto held the door open for her and Amu stepped into the room. She looked around in surprise. The room looked like a bedroom. There was a bed against the wall under the window she had seen. A dresser stood in the corner and on top of it Yoru appeared to be asleep in his egg on top of the dresser and Amu noticed another egg next to his. A violin was leaning up against the dresser carefully. Amu turned to Ikuto as he shut the door behind them.

"This is the practice room?" she asked in surprise, "It looks more like a bedroom!"

"It is my bedroom," Ikuto laughed, "but it's also the practice room."

Amu gazed at him in astonishment. He laughed at her and moved past to sit on the bed. He patted his hand on the bed next to him and smiled. Amu blushed a bit but she sat down all the same. He turned to her that usual grin she had come to know so well, played across his lips.

Amu would never know exactly how it happened but in the next moment she found herself kissing Ikuto. It felt so comfortable and better than it had in her dream. She let one hand press against his chest while the other one caressed the side of his face and wound loose strands of his hair around her fingers. At first Ikuto had been astonished by what Amu was doing but then he leaned into the curve of her body and wrapped his arms around her. One stayed at her waist and the other combed through her soft pink hair.

After a few minutes, they broke apart just briefly enough for Amu to whisper, "You win the bet", before they were back together again with an even deeper and more passionate kiss.
